Does it help to stand up and be counted?

When the cause is just, it sure doesn't hurt.

Although Volition Project is a near-zero-overhead company with a negligible carbon footprint compared to larger firms, we've signed on to the We Are Still In open letter. In it, government and business leaders across the country pledge to support the Paris Agreement on climate change, even though our ill-guided administration has chosen to pull out.

Volition Project doesn't have factories to optimize or data centers to take solar, but we do our best: Our lights are almost all LED (one halogen remains), and our thermostat is smart. We put out more recycling than garbage every week. We are almost paperless (but we love stickies). We love taking trains and we support mass transit. We drink from the tap. Most importantly, we pay attention when new solutions are developed, and we adopt them where we can.

So count us in, for what it's worth.
